We got rained on during the photo shoot, but I don’t think we are complaining. Here Julia strikes an amazing dance jump while her mom helpfully holds the flash light up for me. Yes, it was drizzling at the same time.

That bottom one is beautiful
Friends and families, I’m inviting all of you to participate in “The Children of the North Shore,” a charity photo project that will feature 100 local children of all ages and ethnicity. I’ll personally photograph your child and charge no fees for the photo session. In return, you donate $100 to the Winnetka Alliance for Early Childhood, which provides programs and support for parents and professionals who teach and care for children in Winnetka, Kenilworth, Northfield and other North Shore communities. Your donation helps fund wonderful programs and projects, including TV Tune Out Guides, wristbands and buttons, networking events for area educators, parenting speakers and Early Childhood newsletter distributed free to area families and educators. To learn more about the Winnetka Alliance, please visit www.winnetkaalliance.org. Not only is your donation tax deductible, it also feels good to support a very worthy organization. Of course, your child will look anything but ordinary in the pictures. This project ends on August 31, and my goal is to raise $10,000. So please contact me and let’s make it happen! By the way, I took this photo of my son, Charlie, at 5:26 PM on 9/12/2004 when he was 8 years old. He is going to be a freshman at New Trier in the fall. Time flies… no comments I was honored to shoot the North Shore natives Betsy and Bob’s wedding at the Skokie Country Club in Glencoe. It’s hard not to fall in love with the couple and their families. The weather was tricky with rain drops through out the day, but we were lucky for a few moments of fine weather when we needed it for pictures. The ceremony was held in the beautiful North Shore United Methodist Church in Glencoe, the flowers were arranged by Edwards Florist in Winnetka, and the wedding planner is the fabulous Lisa Zimbler.
